Northwest Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Fire Chief: Bill Graff 403-534-3747 President Glen Tharle 403-534-2338. The Northwest Fire Protection Assn. was organized in 1976 to provide fire protection to the northwest portion of Vulcan County. It is staffed by volunteers who are well trained. Some members are EMT's who have a strong desire  to serve their community. It is funded by the property taxpayers in this area. The annual meeting is held early in the year and everyone is welcome to attend.
